![]() ![]() My guess, X-Plane is using whatever TTS voice is set as default under Windows Control Panel, Speech recognition. ![]() What I've determined in my own system is that Windows 10 insists upon blocking my Intel ICH10 Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 3A3A and my AS Media XHCI Controller, which again means no keyboard, mouse, or any other peripheral functionality save what I can plug into my motherboard's legacy PS/2 port. Glad to hear your Windows 10 experience is going well. Regarding IVONA, I'd consider it IF anybody can testify to it working in X-Plane. On my X-Plane installation at least, it defaults to Microsoft Anna I've confirmed this by both sound (X-Plane ATC and Microsoft Anna sound exactly the same) and if I go into the Windows 7 control panel and adjust Microsoft Anna's voice speed, the change is also reflected in X-Plane ATC voice. On launch, I gave it a fresh install to the release version and have not had a single issue. On a side note, I've been running windows 10 technical preview for months with X-Plane. I'd confirm that its possible first though (which I don't think it is). ![]() If there is a way, I highly recommend picking up one or two IVONA voices, though they are payware. I'm not aware of a way to hook custom ones in. As far as I know X-Plane 10 uses its own voices for ATC. ![]()
